A Lacey Love Affair


When lace first manifested on the fashion scene, no way was I sold into wearing the cloth made for elderly women. But as the fleeting years passed, the concept of donning lacy garments started to grow on me, and now, I have transformed into a slightly obsessed lace-loving freak. The thing I treasure most about lace is the glamorous 1920's vibe every time I dress myself in the fabric. And to top it off, chunky gold necklaces work every time as an old school vintage finishing touch.

    I adore lace items. I really need to get more into my life! At the moment, I just have a black lace shrug that is great for layering and dressing up an otherwise casual outfit.

    i think the best part about lace is how dual it can be....it's feminine and soft but looks amazing with leather or jeans or other contrasting fabrics....

    I am totally with you. I hated lace when it first became trendy again because it just reminded me of old people! But after seeing people styling it very classy but modern, lace looks very beautiful to me now. <3

    Ohhh lace has been on the scene since bobbin lace originated hundreds of years ago. It's classic and always will be.

    I agree! I thought lace for only for my grandmother - it has taken up a large section of my wardrobe now though - along with crochet!
